Pay1 Digi – Automating onboarding

One of the primary agenda every quarter is to optimise the current applications and make them more accessible to our merchants. We have spent an exorbitant amount of man-hours to fine-tune and polish the products this quarter and the spotlight this month has been especially on Pay1 Digi.

As a product manager, it became paramount that I make sure that the newest of technology is integrated with the Digi app that will further our goals and increase the penetration of digital payments hinterland. Keeping that in mind we worked really hard on specific elements that will help us get ahead of the curve. I am very pleased to convey that now registering as a merchant on Digi is as easier than ever. For the last couple of months we have striven to make onboarding of the retailers extremely smooth and automated. The hassle of B2B onboarding is individual to the company, and if a company’s client base is the unorganised merchants, the process becomes more difficult. The previous onboarding required us to handhold our clients and constantly update them with their service activation. The automation of onboarding saves the time of the merchant as well as frees up man hours and helps us streamline our resources effectively.

So how does this new module optimise Pay1 Digi.

To complete the above steps it hardly takes time, the solution offers efficiency and helps us manage the data better. Withcurrent implementation showing ffavourable esults on Digi we expect to includethis process in all the other Pay1 Platforms in the coming quarter.
